Ex-Tigers’ NFL woes not LSU coaches’ fault
Immersed in the LSU baseball season, I’ll admit to being a little bit oblivious to whatever rumblings exist that the Tigers football program has fallen from grace to some degree.
Last I checked — sometime after a long week in Orlando, Fla., and a short break before the baseball season began — LSU had just come off a 9-4 season and was in the thick of recruiting.
If I recall correctly, the season, while it had its share of disappointments and letdowns, wasn’t horrible.
