Struggling Dogs target 2-game Trustmark run
State will look to snap its losing streak when it faces Jackson State (28-14) at Trustmark Park in Pearl today at 6:30 p.m. The Bulldogs (20-23) will play Southern Miss at Trustmark on Wednesday, also at 6:30 p.m., before traveling to Auburn for a three-game SEC series.
The top eight teams reach the SEC Tournament and right now State (5-16) is four games out of eighth place with nine to play. Sweeps at the hands of Alabama and Ole Miss have placed State far from tournament contention.
