Some fans act as badly as athletes
JUPITER, Fla. — Twenty four hours later, the lovers and haters were still lining up on opposite sides of the dramatic opinion divide as America attempted to decide whether Tiger Woods was a sympathetic figure or an insincere corporate puppet.
It was fascinating to see how many people were still picking apart his public apology for cheating on his wife as if it were a bleeding carcas. It was almost unnerving to realize that no matter what he said or how he would have said it, it would never be enough to satisfy anyone who already believed that Woods had never quite revealed enough of himself to them in the past.
