CBS’ Davis gives Knight some advice
College basketball TV analysts, usually former coaches themselves, are more likely to praise or at least sympathize with coaches who’ve had NCAA problems rather than call them out.
And it’s even rarer for TV analysts to single out other analysts as being out of line.
But CBS’ Seth Davis Saturday singled out ESPN’s Bob Knight as not only not having “his facts correct” in criticizing Kentucky’s John Calipari but also for not being “a great messenger to be talking about the behavior of coaches.”
