It looks like Sam Bradford is finished for at least this year at Oklahoma, and maybe for good. ESPN’s Joe Schad is reporting that the 2008 Heisman Trophy winner will have season-ending shoulder surgery that would take four-five months to recover from.
Bradford re-injured his throwing shoulder in the Sooners loss to Texas last weekend at the Cotton Bowl and has been considering his options since.
Bradford had scheduled and then cancelled a news conference yesterday to give himself time to make a more informed decision.
