STARKVILLE — A brief shower fell on Mississippi State’s practice Tuesday afternoon, turning an already thick day into a miserable steam bath.
Carl Torbush, MSU’s defensive coordinator, still made sure he went jogging. It was a sweaty 26 minutes, he said.
“Just enough to get my mental therapy in,” he said with a laugh.
What for, coach?
Again, he laughed. “The ups and downs of college football,” he replied. His audience knew exactly what he meant.
