With new coaches and a new attitude among his teammates, Charles Mitchell says he is expects Mississippi State to have a better season than last year’s 4-8 finish.
“We’re a better team,” said Mitchell, a former standout at Clarksdale High School. “We’ve got a new attitude. We’re excited about playing football at Mississippi State.”
The reason for the excitement is obvious. Sylvester Croom has been replaced as head coach.
