Unspecified discipline awaits apologetic star
STARKVILLE — Mississippi State football coach Dan Mullen called the actions of star running back Anthony Dixon, arrested Saturday night and charged with driving under the influence, “selfish” and said his discipline “will be handled inside the football program.”
But Mullen didn’t specify if Dixon, a second-team all-Southeastern Conference running back and the team’s most valuable returning offensive player, would miss playing time.
