Breathing easier: CT scan confirms Hardy ready to go
OXFORD — A scary car accident put Greg Hardy’s right foot back in a protective walking boot. But it doesn’t look like it will keep Ole Miss’ star defensive end off the football field this fall.
Hardy should be ready for the beginning of preseason camp on Aug. 9 after a CT scan on the foot revealed no significant damage, according to the doctor who has been treating him since his second surgery in March.
“It was excellent news,” UM coach Houston Nutt said.
