Tennessee’s Lane Kiffin: SEC slaps down a barking dog
Barely a few hours after Lane Kiffin took umbrage with Florida coach Urban Meyer and accused him of an NCAA violation that wasn’t, the Southeastern Conference has reprimanded the new Tennessee football coach.
Kiffin is now backtracking on his accusation, saying that he was simply throwing out a little aside to an energetic group of Vols fans at a post-recruiting breakfast gathering. So, in Lane’s little mind, it’s OK to slander a fellow SEC coach while you think you’re just speaking to your faithful masses.
