From the sideline to the boardroom (Hugh Nall)

Hugh Nall was in Albany less than six months ago, preparing for another major college football season as Auburn’s offensive line coach for what seemed a year full of promise.
At the annual preseason meeting of the Southwest Georgia Auburn Club in June, he tried to get the Tigers’ faithful to buy into the new spread offense that then-offensive coordinator Tony Franklin was implementing. The team had also just been selected by the media to win the Southeastern Conference West title — and the Tigers entered 2008 enjoying a six-game winning streak against arch rival Alabama.

But a lot has changed in the last six months.
