Q: I hope you’re ready and willing to offer a mea culpa if Oklahoma’s defense actually shows some teeth in the national championship game. It is rare for an expert to ever publicly concede he was wrong. You have not declined any opportunity to absolutely trash that unit this season (every time the word “Oklahoma” appears in your writing). Are they the worst unit in the country? While that defense surely has given up a lot of big plays this season, it has also made quite a few big plays.
