Ole Miss’ victory total will be divisible by 3
Ole Miss won just three football games last year. My task is to tell you how many the Rebels will win this season, as we begin a series of columns forecasting the upcoming college football season.
Ole Miss is easy. I give the Rebels three more victories because they will boast, finally, a really good, top-shelf SEC quarterback in Jevan Snead. That’s six wins.
And then I’m going to give them three more victories still because they will be led by a proven, experienced head coach, Houston Nutt, who knows not only X’s and O’s but also how to manage people. Presumably, he also knows when to punt. That’s three, plus three, plus three and that equals nine.
And then, wait a second, that’s too many.
