Harper stands behind Trump endorsement
Mississippi Cong. Gregg Harper is standing behind his endorsement of Donald Trump for president.
However, he said comments Trump made eleven years ago that were recently unearthed are “indefensible”.
The Republican congressman, who represents most of east Mississippi, endorsed Trump earlier this year after the businessman won the GOP nomination.
The entire Mississippi GOP delegation has also maintained its support for Trump.
