Second Amendment tax-free weekend starts Friday
Mississippi hunters can keep a little more cash in their pockets this weekend during the Second Amendment sales tax holiday.
Starting Friday, hunters can choose from a list of items that are exempt from the normal state sales tax. Items included are archery equipment, rifles, pistols, shotguns, ammunition, sights and more. Some items related to hunting such as dogs, trucks, ATVs and hunting clothing are not tax-free during the event.
