Yazoo Co. judges say they will not perform weddings
Two Justice Court judges in Yazoo County told county officials they will no longer perform weddings, WLBT reported.
The letter reportedly said the judges will no longer perform weddings as of July 1 of this year. Though it made no mention of the recent U.S. Supreme Court ruling mandating states allow same-sex marriages, the move is similar to those made by others who opposed the ruling.
