Roger Wicker, new NRSC chairman: No shutdowns, impeachment threats from GOP
Sen. Roger Wicker, Mississippi Republican and newly elected chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said Friday there will be no government shutdowns under a new Congress to be led entirely by the GOP.
“We’re not going to have any government shutdowns. We’re not going to have any threats of impeachment,” Mr. Wicker said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”
