CLARION LEDGER: Cochran should be re-elected: Our view
The best thing that can be said about the race for U.S. Senate is that it is almost over. This bizarre, surreal, nightmarish, strange ordeal will cease when the final votes are counted Tuesday — or so we sincerely hope.
On the ballot will be incumbent U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran, Democratic challenger Travis Childers and a handful of lesser party candidates. The real choice, of course, is between Cochran and Childers, and the choice is easy.
Thad Cochran should be re-elected to the U.S. Senate.
