Rep. Steve Holland, D-Plantersville, had a medical shunt installed Wednesday to help with drainage from the gallbladder surgery he underwent last week.
Rep. Bobby Moak of Bogue Chitto, who is the Democratic leader of the House, said Holland was resting comfortably and improving at the University of Mississippi Medical Center after first undergoing the gallbladder surgery, which lasted about three hours, followed by Wednesday’s procedure.
