Brandon Presley calls State Sen. Chris McDanial’s hidden announcement video ‘sick’

Earlier today, Mississippi state senator Chris McDaniel (R – Ellisville), announced that he would challenge longtime incumbent U.S. Sen. Thad Cochran (R – Miss.) in the 2014 Republican primary. He held a campaign event in his hometown, and simultaneously unveiled a campaign website complete with videos on his positions.

Shortly thereafter, McDaniel began to receive immense criticism for calling Mississippi a “welfare state” in his announcement video. Take for instance this tweet by Public Service Commissioner Brandon Presley (D):

Brandon Presley ?@BrandonPresley5hChris McDaniel’s campaign video calling MS a “welfare state” is sick. Our people work harder than plenty of people NY, CA or any other state

Then a funny thing happened. McDaniel made the video “private”, meaning that no one could view his announcement video without his permission. You can check for yourself here: http://youtu.be/TETb6Am7le0
