State lawmaker Tyrone Ellis hospitalized in Jackson after suffering stroke
State Rep. Tyrone Ellis, a Democrat from Starkville, has been hospitalized after suffering a stroke.
Ellis represents House District 38 which includes parts of Clay, Noxubee, Oktibbeha and Lowndes counties.
He has served in the Legislature since 1980.
