Sam Hall – Twitter fight between YallPolitics, Cottonmouth a draw
For the past two days, there have been rumblings about changes at the Mississippi Republican Party.
Matt Eichelberger at Cottonmouth blogged yesterday that a firing was eminent, and then today wrote he had confirmed the news:
I’ve been able to confirm that Brett Kittredge, former editor of Majority in Mississippi, has been fired from the Mississippi Republican Party. Kittredge had been lured over to Mississippi from Georgia by the MSGOP at the beginning of this year to serve as their Communications Director. That’s the Christmas spirit, Republicans!
Frank Corder of YallPolitics responded via Twitter that Eichelberger was wrong and accusing him of trying to draw attention from party-switcher news:
Cottonmouth tries to distract from Jason White D to R switch by posting misinformation on MSGOP. No firing before Christmas.
So who’s right? Both, it seems.
