Hall: Changes at MSGOP

According to people high up in the party, Brett will be leaving the party by the end of the year. However, it’s not being characterized as a firing, at least not in the sense that Brett did something wrong.

It sounds like to me that this is the new Republican leadership rearranging the staff with “their people,” which is pretty common after changes in governors. If it’s more than that, I suspect we’ll hear more later.

I’ve reached out to Brett, for whom I have great respect. His work at Majority in Mississippi was top-notch, and from what I’ve seen he’s done a good job for his party as well.
