Scruggs makes it home in time for the holidays
Richard F. “Dickie” Scruggs, once one of America’s most famous litigators, is home for the first time in more than four years.
Scruggs, 66, was released on $2 million bond Monday from a federal prison facility in Montgomery, Ala., where he’s been held for his guilty plea to the 2007 conspiracy to bribe Circuit Judge Henry Lackey of Calhoun City.
