Nunnelee talks jobs at roundtable discussion
Mississippi Congressman Alan Nunnelee was in the Mid-South Wednesday talking jobs at a roundtable discussion in Olive Branch.
Nunnelee told Action News 5 that the concern he is hearing the most from businesses in Mississippi is uncertainty in the state of the economy.
He told leaders in the business community on Wednesday that he is working for less government involvement in small business.
Nunnelee says he believes the country’s high tax rate is threatening growth and jobs because he says other countries are too hesitant to invest.
