Henry Ross says his more conservative
Henry Ross describes himself as a more conservative candidate for Congress.
He is among two Republican challengers to incumbent Rep. Alan Nunnelee, a Republican serving his first term as congressman for Mississippi’s First Congressional District.
“Conservatives have been frustrated with the leftward-leaning big government for decades now and that kind of frustration boiled over when Barack Obama became president,” Ross said. “They saw things that they really couldn’t believe and in 2010 they wanted to make a change. So they (conservatives) elected a U.S. House of Representatives that was in Republican charge there. They made a big change.”
Republicans had promised in 2010 to reduce the size of government, cut spending, and stop Obama-care.
