Wicker to ADP: Budget talks frustrating
Sen. Roger Wicker said voting in the U.S. Senate in Washington has been slow-going.
The Republican senator discussed political issues in Washington and how they will trickle down locally during the Area Development Partnership First Friday breakfast.
“Never has it been more frustrating to me in the four years I’ve been there in regards to the budget,” he said. “We haven’t debated a budget in 1,100 days in the U.S. Senate. That’s a long time.”
