PERS group to take public input
Mississippi citizens and interest groups will have the opportunity to speak to members of the Governor’s Public Employees’ Retirement System Study Commission, Chairman George Schloegel announced today. The opportunity for public comment will be from 2-5 p.m. Sept. 14 at the New State Capitol, Room 216.
“Hearing from employees and retirees is an important part of this process,” Chairman Schloegel said. “Any comments will help provide insight into the demands on the retirement system and assist in crafting a sustainable solution for the PERS structure.”
