Simpson goes on attack against Hood at Neshoba
NESHOBA COUNTY FAIR — Attorney general candidates Jim Hood, the Democratic incumbent, and Steve Simpson, the Republican challenger, took vastly different approaches in their stump speeches before the Neshoba County Fair crowds on Wednesday.
Simpson went on the attack, criticizing Hood on numerous topics and referring to him as a career politician.
Hood, other than saying, “My Momma taught me, if you can’t say something good about somebody, then don’t say anything at all,” didn’t mention his opponent at all and instead focused on his accomplishments during two terms in office.
