Miss. Congressmen Schedule Health Care Town-Hall Meetings

Congressmen Bennie Thompson and Gene Taylor have scheduled town-hall meetings this month to discuss President Barack Obama’s health care proposal.

Thompson will host a forum in Jackson Aug. 24 at the Stringer Grand Lodge at 1072 J.R. Lynch St. He will also hold a town-hall meeting in Greenville on Aug. 25 at the Elks Lodge and on Aug. 26 in Greenwood, also at the Elks Lodge. All three meetings begin at 6:30 p.m.

Taylor has scheduled a town-hall meeting for Monday at 6 p.m. at the Pelican Landing Conference Center, 6217 Highway 613 in Moss Point.
