There was a little nugget in the court file today in Eaton v. Frisby, one of the other cases involving alleged malfeasance by Judge Bobby DeLaughter.
Apparently, there is a move to file things under seal in that case. That makes some sense because it is a trade secrets case at its core.
Here is a notice from the Eaton side about filing things under seal.
Regardless of the trade secret nature of the case, the YP Nation sure would like to get its hands on some of the depositions floating around in that case. We can certainly make an argument that there is a real public interest in anything that isn’t trade secret protected . . . and even that can be redacted out.
