AGO says new laws were needed

HB 1362, sponsored by Rep. Brandon Jones, will expand the AGO’s administrative subpoena power to include computer crimes.

Hood said, “This will allow our office to quickly obtain the physical address of child pornographers and child predators. When we begin using these administrative subpoenas along with the new, cutting edge Operation Fairplay technology, we will be arresting perverts at a record pace.”

HB 1357, sponsored by Reps. Brandon Jones and Russ Nowell, expands the definition of identity theft victims to include businesses and other entities.
