NAACP To Launch Melton Investigation – 6/2/6
Rev. Edward Hightower believes Hood’s decision not to prosecute Melton is a step back in time.
“I feel Attorney General Jim Hood is playing politics with justice,” said Hightower.
Hightower, just like the NAACP, believes Melton violates citizen’s civil rights.
“If I go out here and break a law they are not going to tell me to go home and don’t do it any more. I’m going to pay the consequences. Frank Melton should pay the consequences,” said Hightower.
