Musgrove Picks Up Newspaper Endorsements

U.S. Senate candidate Ronnie Musgrove has been endorsed by the Jackson Clarion Ledger, Greenwood Commonwealth, Jackson Free Press and Memphis Commercial Appeal.

The Greenwood Commonwealth said it gives Musgrove a slight edge over his Republican opponent, Sen. Roger Wicker, “because of the Democrat’s career-long dedication to improving public education.”

The Memphis Commercial Appeal cited Musgrove, as governor, helping land a Nissan plant in Mississippi, raised teacher pay and helped improve the state’s infrastructure.
