Ronnie Musgrove’s U.S. Senate campaign has raised just over $2 million, Federal Election Commission reports showed Thursday.
That compares to more than $4.4 million raised by his opponent, interim Sen. Roger Wicker of Tupelo.
Musgrove mailed his finance report to the FEC on Wednesday. A 400-plus-page copy was e-mailed to the Daily Journal on Thursday.
For July through September, the former governor’s report shows contributions of $743,969 from about 700 donors, bringing his to-date total to $2,013,574.
Spending during that period is nearly $1 million. Thus far, the campaign has spent more than $1.5 million.
Musgrove’s cash-on-hand comes to $460,258, compared with Wicker’s $1.66 million cash.
