Hood refuses AG’s Office representation of Medicaid/Barbour in litigation with hospitals
Mississippi Attorney General Jim Hood on Tuesday told the Division of Medicaid and Gov. Haley Barbour that his office will not represent them in ongoing litigation with the state’s hospitals in a court battle over Medicaid funding that legally challenges Barbour’s latest plan to pay for the health-care program that serves almost 600,000 Mississippians.
