UPDATE:
On Tuesday Federal Judge Carlton Reeves put a temporary block on the recent bill signed into law by Gov. Bryant to restrict abortions after 15 weeks.
The decision came after the state’s only abortion clinic filed papers Monday saying a woman, past 15 weeks, was scheduled for an abortion on Tuesday.
This law is the strictest in the nation concerning abortions.

Today Gov. Phil Bryant signed HB 1510 into law. The bill would ban any abortions in the state of Mississippi after 15 weeks. Currently, Mississippi law prohibits abortions after 20 weeks.
It’s a great day in Mississippi as we move to make our state the safest place in the nation for an unborn child. I was proud to stand with members of the pro-life community as Gov. @PhilBryantMS signed the ban on abortions after 15 weeks of gestation. pic.twitter.com/xWQNgjyTUn
