Scruggs has settled with Jones and will be dismissed from the case tomorrow. Two down (Scruggs, Nutt), two to go (Barrettt, Lovelace). I imagine the amount paid will be confidential.
This is of course the case in which Scruggs attempted to bribe Judge Lackey. I guess the interlocutory appeal is off for Scruggs, but would presume the one with Barrett and Lovelace is still on.
