Third-party presidential candidate Ralph Nader’s campaign swings through Jackson on Saturday, but he still has work to do before Mississippians can vote for him in November.
To appear on the ballot here, he said he needs 1,000 signatures from registered voters. A campaign official said he has about 200 so far.
Nader, who is running as an independent, will sign copies of two books he authored and speak at Lemuria Books at 6 p.m. Saturday.
Political analysts don’t give him much hope, and Nader acknowledges he may not receive much support here. He said he’s also touring every other state.
