Florida and Michigan Delegates Count Less Than Slaves in the 1700s

In a move that surprised no one today, the party known for being made up of attorneys followed their lawyers advice and will be seating all of their delegates, but they will each only receive half a vote. Half, by the way, is is slightly less than three-fifths.

According to the New York Times

After the decision on the motion, one observer in the hall yelled out “This is not the Democratic Party!”
