Carroll County Supervisor Indicted for Embezzlement
Lloyd D. “Honey Ashmore (age 65), 1790 County Road 130, Carrollton, MS, was arrested today by investigators with the Office of the Attorney General and the State Auditor’s Office.
“We appreciate the Department of Audit referring this case to our office for investigation and prosecution,” said Attorney General Jim Hood. “Since an elected officer is accused of a crime, we will request that the court expedite this matter to resolve the case.”
