Candidates serving up ‘red meat’ rhetoric
Anyone expecting a maverick position from this group of candidates on the “red meat” issues – immigration, abortion, gun rights, taxes and such – will be disappointed. These guys are a lot alike.
At some point in this campaign, voters need less “red meat” and more focus on character, integrity and whether the candidate approaches the job of congressman with the heart of a servant.
At some point, this debate ought to be less about immigration and more about the confluence of convictions and ability.
