Lt. Gov. Phil Bryant, State Treasurer Tate Reeves, Attorney General Jim Hood and other state officials were sworn in during a ceremony Thursday in the state House chamber.
After he was sworn in, Bryant, flanked by his family and World War II Medal of Honor winner Jack Lucas, said he was positive about the state’s future, despite negative budget projections.
“I am excited and I am enthusiastic about the future of Mississippi,” Bryant said.
