House district revote today; candidates vow to keep up fight

Whatever the outcome, the final say may rest with the Mississippi House, as both contenders have filed petitions with the chamber. The certified winner will be seated Jan. 8, when the Legislature convenes. But after that, the speaker will appoint a committee to review the petitions and make a recommendation to the full body on which candidate to seat permanently.
