Re-vote issued in state representative race
Hinds County election officials today granted longtime Jackson-area lawmaker John Reeves a re-vote in four precincts where voting irregularities occurred during the Nov. 6 general election.
The re-vote will be held Dec. 18 in precincts 72, 92, 93 and 96.
Reeves, a Republican and a state representative since 1984, said because of
the irregularities, it is impossible to determine whether the errors caused
him to lose to Democrat Adrienne Wooten.
