South Mississippians need to flock to the polls today to show that Hurricane Katrina did not rob this region of its political influence.
With fierce battles being waged in most of the eight statewide races, voters in the six southernmost counties could provide the margin of victory for many of those candidates.
Editorially, we have decided to weigh in on only five decisions that will be made today.
