Republican Al Hopkins on Wednesday continued blasting incumbent Attorney General Jim Hood’s acceptance of campaign contributions from lawyers who have received state contracts.
A Hood campaign spokesman labeled his comments “desperate” and said Hopkins is trying to divert attention from the Republican candidate’s lack of prosecutorial experience.
Hood has accepted more than $423,000 in contributions from lawyers and law firms who have received state contracts over the last four years, Hopkins said.
