Election ’07: Crucial Hinds races

Voters began the process of picking Hinds County’s leadership On Aug. 7, but two key decisions remain.

On Tuesday, voters in the Democratic primary return to choose who will hold the offices of district attorney and tax assessor. Because there are no challengers from other parties, whoever wins the primary takes the office. These are crucial decisions in both cases.
