Less than one week before the election, in which a police officer is running for sheriff, it’s interesting that the Jackson police chief would attack the incumbent sheriff for a lack of jail space, don’t you think?
Maybe it’s just a coincidence that Police Chief Shirlene Anderson is pumping the need for a misdemeanor work camp to house those turned away from the Hinds County Detention Center due to crowding.
