Haley Barbour and that great anti-moneychanger and erstwhile millionaire trial lawyer John Arthur Eaves Jr. to the contested down-ticket primary races:
In the Republican lieutenant governor’s primary, internal polls from both camps show State Auditor Phil Bryant with a lead over state Sen. Charlie Ross. But the race appears to be tightening as Ross pounds Bryant with a saturation of TV attack ads.
